Ty's Bio
Ty is an anointed minister of the Word of God. His life and ministry are marked by a personal pursuit of God that has inspired many to also develop their relationship with God in a way that is real and purposeful. He shares the powerful and redeeming message of Jesus as he speaks in Churches, Conferences, Men’s Groups, Businesses, and Athletic Teams..
Ty combines his experience in ministry, college athletics, as well as his background and training in business to communicate and inspire people on a practical level to live the life God is calling them to live.
Ty grew up in the Panhandle of Oklahoma. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Panhandle State University where he was also a four-year Letterman in Football. During his career he set several team records of which many are still standing to date. He was named to the NAIA Div. I All-American HM, First Team All District-IX, Carl Wooten Award (Coaches Pick MVP), Dist. IX Offensive Player of the Week twice, and PSU All-Time Leading Receiver. Ty finished his senior season ranked #2 Nationally in NAIA Div. I in Receiving.
Ty spent 22 years in the Corporate World and has had experience working for Fortune 500 companies with great success. After investing many years sales, he then moved into Management where he served as Director of Sales for a manufacturing company managing both Domestic and International Sales
Ty and his wife, Debbie live in Tulsa, Oklahoma and are the founders of Barker Ministries, Inc. They travel all over the United States and other Countries preaching the Word of God. They preach regular church services as well as Conference Events, Revival Meetings, and Men’s and Women’s Events.
Ty and Debbie still serve in their home church Victory Church in Tulsa, OK. They both are Instructors at Victory College and serve in other areas within the Church. They currently serve as Team Pastors Directors and also Discipleship Directors. Ty’s desire is to see people set free from every bondage that tries to stop them and to see them fulfill their divine purpose and destiny.
